Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an actor as well as an inventor and businessperson. She started her career in Australia, and later moved to Hollywood in which she has achieved great success. George, a native of Perth from Western Australia, began her career in dance and artistic roller-skating. When she was a teenager she began her professional career as a model and received an award called the Western Australia Teenage Model title in the year 1992. In the following year, she was in a screen episode on the soap-opera series Seven Network Home and Away. Following her first appearance on the big screen, in Dark City's thriller of mystery, she acted in a range of support roles on Alias The Limey, Down with Love as well as other productions before taking her first role as a lead female character in the mainstream of Hollywood in 2005 remake The Amityville Horror. She is currently one of the most sought-after Australian expatriates in the American entertainment business. George launched Style Snaps, her product as an innovator.
