Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than a decade. She has won numerous accolades for her performance in the roles of Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard as well in Nashville (2012). Also, she played the lead part of Jerrica Jem Benton on the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up in Lake Mary Florida. She has a sister named Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey performed with The Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for this class in 2012 as she completed her studies. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice in order to take on the role she played in Nashville. Peeples was a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). She was in the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. The latter was her most prominent character in Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. In the year 2019 Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples as one of the top gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014.
